		XM Plays The Unheard Canadian Music:

�La Musique� to take Qu�bec music centre stage on new weekly show created by Canadian Satellite Radio

Montr�al, QC - Canadian Satellite Radio (CSR) today announced that CSR and its partner XM Satellite Radio Inc. will create a weekly program that showcases Qu�bec & French-Canadian musical talent for broadcast across Canada and the United States.

Hosted by bilingual on-air talent, �La Musique� will highlight Qu�bec�s music in both official languages. In addition to music, the program will also feature exclusive artist interviews, live performances and other special programming.

�Qu�bec has always had a rich variety of musical talent and that�s never been truer than today. There�s a good reason why both Spin magazine and the New York Times have declared that Montreal has the hottest music scene in the world � the talent. �La Musique� will be the first-ever dedicated vehicle to bring all that unheard talent to North America,� said Stephen Tapp, CSR president and COO.

CSR made its final proposal to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) in November 2004 and awaits a licensing decision on subscription-based satellite radio services. Pending regulatory approval, �La Musique� will air on a channel in XM�s current music line-up. In addition to this new show, CSR and XM plan to add a suite of 24-hour Canadian channels featuring programming in English and French. The Canadian channels will be a part of the entire continent-wide XM service, marking the first time in history that Canadian content will be broadcast directly into the world's largest consumer market.

Pr�sent�e par un animateur bilingue, � La Musique � permettra de mettre en relief la musique qu�b�coise dans les deux langues officielles. Outre la musique, l��mission pr�sentera des entrevues exclusives avec les artistes, des interpr�tations en direct et d�autres �missions sp�ciales.

CSR a d�pos� sa proposition finale aupr�s du Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des t�l�communications canadiennes (CRTC) en novembre 2004 et attend une d�cision d'autorisation d�exploitation d�un service par abonnement de radio satellite. En attendant l�approbation du r�glement, l��mission � La Musique � sera pr�sent�e sur un canal de XM, dans le cadre de sa programmation actuelle de musique. En plus de cette nouvelle �mission, CSR et XM pr�voient ajouter une s�rie de canaux canadiens pr�sentant une programmation 24 heures sur 24 en anglais et en fran�ais.
